Could you help facilitate a PeerTalk group in Bordon?
The support group meetings are for people facing depression, anxiety or similar distress and run on Tuesday evenings at Forest Community Centre, Pinehill Rd, Bordon, GU35 0BS. Applicants must be available to volunteer on a Tuesday evening.
PeerTalk is a national charity that supports people who live with depression and related distress through hosting weekly peer support groups that are each facilitated by two volunteers. With a minimum commitment of offering four evenings in a three month period the facilitators take their turn on a rota to facilitate the peer support group.
Our Training Day takes place on Saturday 30th November, 9.45am - 4pm, at The Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook. See http://www.peertalk.org.uk/index.php/volunteer for more details.
