Fundraising Volunteer

The Fundraising Volunteer role is flexible and varied.  It can be undertaken as a one off for an event or particular task, as a regular event volunteer or a regular commitment to support the administrative aspect of fundraising.

The different aspects of the role can include:

  • Distributing information to local schools and doctors’ surgeries
  • Distributing flyers and posters in the local area
  • Contacting local businesses to ask for support for Off The Record; either financial donations, sponsorship, gifts in kind or help with an event  
  • Assist in the planning of events
  • Attend events with or on behalf of Off The Record
  • Work with the fundraising team following events to evaluate the success of the event  
  • Promote a positive impression of Off The Record; acting as an ambassador for the charity and promoting the importance of positive emotional health and well-being of young people.
  • Researching potential sources of income; grants, businesses, community schemes etc. and feeding back to the Fundraising Team
