WELCOMING CASEWORKER VOLUNTEERS!
Join us in our work to support members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, Reservists, as well as veterans and their families.
By volunteering you will make a huge difference to the lives of those in need, as well as gaining new skills and experience, giving back to your local community and meeting new people. You don’t need to be a Legion member or have links to the Armed Forces community to volunteer with us, simply sign up and get going!
As a volunteer caseworker you will meet with beneficiaries to assess their circumstances and determine if they are eligible for Legion support. You will play a key role in meeting and providing practical and emotional support to members of the Armed Forces community, and will also gain experience of being in a customer facing environment.
Royal British Legion was founded by veterans after the First World War on 15
May 1921 and a century on, we are still helping our veterans and their
families. This role is all about making a difference to peoples' lives as we
move into the future!
We welcome new faces and fresh new ideas. It's a great new era to be part of The Royal British Legion. Please do get in touch, we can't wait to meet you!
